The YARSPE Consortium met at the start of the year in the Netherlands to officially launch the project. Each partner: Fare network, Fundacja dla Wolności, Fotbal pro Rozvoj, GEA and Subjective Values Foundation was represented at the discussions. The one day meeting focused on discussing the implementation of the project, responsibilities and commitment of the partners.
YARSPE is a three year project, financed by the European Commission under the 2019 call: Monitoring and coaching, through sports, of youngsters at risk of radicalisation. It is implemented in five countries and coordinated by Fare network.
The project will run from January 2020 until December 2022 and will produce several outputs aimed to facilitate the process of using sport in the prevention of radicalisation and violent extremism in youth.
